Central Vietnam Tees Up for a Landmark Golfing Year
Central Vietnam is rapidly establishing itself as a premier golfing destination, with the Vietnam Golf Coast (VGC) clubs anticipating another landmark year for the region in 2025 following an exceptional 2024.
“Central Vietnam is hitting its stride as a world-class golf destination, and 2025 presents an exciting opportunity to solidify our position on the global stage,” said Stephen Banks, Director of Golf at Laguna Golf Lang Co.
Central Vietnam’s Golf Spotlight
CiMSO South East Asia recognizes this remarkable growth and extends congratulations to the VGC clubs for their efforts in promoting Central Vietnam as a golf hotspot. The region’s exceptional collection of championship courses, designed by golfing greats like Sir Nick Faldo, Luke Donald, and Colin Montgomerie, continues to captivate golf enthusiasts worldwide.
With major events such as the Asia Golf Tourism Convention (AGTC) scheduled for April and the Asia Grand Final of the Faldo Series returning to Laguna Golf Lang Co, 2025 promises to be an exciting year for the region. Additional key tournaments, including the Women’s Amateur Asia-Pacific in March and the Vietnam World Masters Golf Championship in September, further solidify Central Vietnam’s place on the global golfing map.

Sustainability is also playing a significant role in the region’s development. Laguna Golf Lang Co’s partnership with Thanh Lanh and Royal Long An to propose the Faldo Vietnam Open highlights a commitment to junior golf development and eco-friendly tourism practices.
“Our focus for 2025 is not just on delivering exceptional golf experiences but also on ensuring that we operate in harmony with the environment and local communities,” said Simon Mees, General Manager at Ba Na Hills Golf Club.
CiMSO proudly supports sustainable initiatives within the hospitality and golf industries. With solutions like GOLFmanager and CLUBmanager, establishments can streamline operations while enhancing guest experiences and promoting responsible practices.
We look forward to witnessing Central Vietnam’s continued rise as a world-class golf destination and commend the VGC clubs for their dedication to advancing the region’s profile on the global stage.
