The CiMSO-RSU (Rangsit University) ERP Hackathon: Hospitality Technology Workshop brought together innovative minds to explore cutting-edge solutions for hospitality management. Hosted in collaboration with Rangsit University, this event spotlighted the transformative potential of CiMSO’s ERP system, fostering creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving in the industry.

The Power of Participation

Participants at the hackathon will gain invaluable experience working with CiMSO’s advanced ERP software, addressing real-world challenges faced by hotels, restaurants, and golf courses. Workshops led by industry leaders such as Mr. Chanin Kulkanjanatorn and Mr. Andrew Marshall provided insights into emerging trends and technologies.

Through hands-on tasks and mentorship, attendees will tackle two critical areas of focus: Visual Data Presentations and Programs to Enhance Service Operations, honing their skills in developing actionable solutions that improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Hackathon Challenges: Innovation in Action

The hackathon challenges are divided into two main categories:

Creating Visual Data Presentations
Participants leverage CiMSO’s robust reporting tools to design impactful dashboards, providing actionable insights into revenue tracking, booking trends, and inventory performance. Key tasks include generating analytics for booking reports and segmenting data for targeted CRM strategies.
Developing Programs to Enhance Service Operations
Teams will reimagine and develop platforms to streamline hospitality services, including online golf bookings, membership systems, and guest self-check-ins. These solutions are built with scalability and cost-effectiveness, ensuring long-term operational benefits.

A Platform for Excellence

Participants will showcase their creativity, technical expertise, and teamwork throughout the competition. The event will culminate in a final round at Rangsit University, where 20 shortlisted teams will present their projects to judges. Winning teams will receive recognition and cash prizes, with awards totalling over 100,000 THB.

The judging criteria will focus on clarity, relevance, design aesthetics, and operational efficiency, ensuring that each project is aligned with industry needs and showcases practical applications of CiMSO’s ERP systems.
